Latin America's cryptocurrency app landscape has seen varied activity in Q1 2024, according to data from Sensor Tower. Let's take a look at how the top five apps on the iOS platform performed during this period.
GoMining showed an impressive increase in weekly active users, rising from 2.33M at the start of January to 5.18M by the end of March. Downloads peaked in early March at 3.8M, while revenue saw a significant jump in the first week of February, reaching 3.25M.
F-Protect, on the other hand, experienced a downward trend in downloads, dropping to zero by mid-March. The app's revenue also fluctuated, with a peak of 1.53M in mid-January, before falling to 815K by the end of March.
For CoinStats: Crypto Portfolio, downloads remained relatively low, with a slight uptick in early March reaching 41K. Revenue hit its highest point at the end of March at 708K, despite a generally low and steady trend in weekly active users, which ended the quarter at 1.61M.
The CoinGecko: Crypto Tracker, NFT app saw a steady increase in weekly active users, from 15.07M in early January to 16.79M at the end of March. Downloads also showed growth, with a high of 1.94M in the first week of March. Revenue for the app peaked at 151K in late February.
Lastly, NFT GO: Creator & Marketplace had a steady base of weekly active users, starting the quarter at 1.27M and ending with 950K. Downloads and revenue data for the app are only available for January, with the highest revenue recorded at 106K in mid-January.
